Last Taste of Summer Smoothie

The last taste of summer smoothie. Made with those last few peaches you have on hand (fresh or frozen) and frozen blueberries. Combining two different colors of fruit in this smoothie gives you multiple types of antioxidants and nutritional compounds. The peaches, in their orange pigment, contain carotenoids known to be super important for immune function and eye health. The blueberries, in their blue pigment, contain high amounts on anthocyanins, powerful compounds that can lower blood pressure and prevent cognitive decline.
